Changing Children’s Lives in Ethiopia

Yedrisheaye is dedicated to helping give orphans and elders a better life and hope for the future. Yedrisheya operates in Southern Ethiopia in Hawassa City. 

 

Despite the fact that there are numurous non-governmental organizations (NGO) rendering aid in the city of Hawassa, the dramatic increase of orphans living in the street, along with an increase in addicted youth, lends a sense of urgency for us all to work together to provide more programs to help this community.

Education for Orphans

 

Unfortunately we don’t have enough room or resources to bring all of the orphaned children off the street. However, with your help we can at least provide food and educational materials to this often malnourished children from adopted families who miss school because they don’t have enough food at home. 

Support the Elders

 

This program is particularly necessary to support the elders in the community. The program allows us to provide food and basic necessities to elderly to keep them healthy and give them hope.
