Our Partners
We partner with local communities to enhance the learning experience for children in rural Africa, particularly Ethiopia and Kenya.
Dream Makers Center
About
Dream Makers Center has been enriching the lives of children and families in Ethiopia for three years. Since 2021, Dream Makers has been licensed by the Sidamic national and regional government and the town of Yirgalem’s Office of Women, Children, and Youth Affairs.
Mission
To help vulnerable children who lack family support by providing them a place to live,
educational access, and an opportunity to live independent, productive lives.
Challenges
Widespread poverty has led to many children fending for themselves in the street. These children have little access to nutritional food or education. Older children age out of support services or leave school and have little hope for education or employment. There are few opportunities for those in the community to find jobs or support their families and access to specialized health care is limited.
Our programs
Through a variety of programs, Dream Makers addresses the needs of vulnerable children in an extremely poor, rural area.

Yedrishaye
Mission

The goal is to provide physical and emotional nourishment, build confidence and create opportunities to live independently with dignity and respect.
Challenges
The combination of extreme poverty and HIV/AIDS has significantly contributed to the increase of orphans and vulnerable children living on the streets. Street children have limited access to nutritious meals and education. Drug addiction is a growing problem and children fall victim to peer pressure and limited choices, ultimately losing hope.
